Delphis Eco trials emissionless deliveries
in London Delphis Eco has launched a pilot scheme to trial emissionless same-day and next-day deliveries for its London business and retail customers.
As part of its ongoing ethos of continually looking at new ways to drive sustainability and lower emissions into its customer offer, the eco-cleaning company has partnered with Quiver to offer innovation as to how its products can reach customers, quickly and sustainably.
The trial will enable products to be delivered to its customers situated in 75% of all Greater London postcodes. Customers can opt for same day delivery at a cost from £5.99, or next day delivery from £3.99.
Quiver is a 100% emissionless business, using only use human or electricity powered vehicles which range in size and include bicycles, e-bikes, e-cargo bikes, e-mopeds, e-cars and e-vans.
Delphis Eco’s CEO and Founder, Mark Jankovich, commented: “Fast delivery is increasingly becoming the expectation and the norm in both business and
consumer markets. Quiver is really setting the standard for sustainable e-commerce delivery in London, with simple integrations, a clean customer interface and cutting-edge technology, this is not only emissionless, but also fast, trackable and editable.
“We’re very excited to see what our customers think of this new offering. It’s cheaper and faster but also has clear environmental benefits, reducing pollution and both ours and our customers’ carbon footprint. We look forward to seeing the results of this trial.”
Matthew Barrie, Founder of Quiver, added: “We’re excited to have Delphis Eco on board, trialling our delivery service and for their customers to be able to enjoy the Quiver delivery experience as we continue to set the standard for e-commerce delivery.”
The process for selecting a Quiver delivery is very simple. When shopping online, customers in qualifying postcodes can select one of the two options for a Quiver delivery at checkout – same day or next day delivery. Customers can still opt for standard delivery.

A helping hand this winter
GOJO is advising organisations, particularly those in the care sector that look after the elderly and the vulnerable, to take steps to lessen the impact of seasonal viruses this winter.
Preparedness can save lives – last year’s influenza programme prevented around 25,000 hospitalisations in England. This autumn and winter, COVID-19, flu and Respiratory Syncytial Virus (RSV) are likely to be co- circulating which, according to Dr Marc-Alain Widdowson, who leads the World Health Organization’s (WHO) High- threat Pathogen team, ‘would increase the risk to vulnerable populations and put further pressure on health services.'
Whilst flu vaccines are a powerful weapon, good hand hygiene is a critical measure in the battle against winter infections. For healthcare and long-term care settings, which support vulnerable patients, GOJO recommends paying extra attention to their specific needs.
Chris Wakefield, VP European Marketing and Managing Director UK & Ireland, GOJO Industries-Europe, commented: “As a founder member of the WHO Private Organizations for Patient Safety group, GOJO is a strong advocate of making hand hygiene second nature to everyone. Hospitals and care homes need to ensure that the protection solutions they select are suitable for everyone with a facility – staff, visitors and patients alike.
“For example, consider touch-free dispensers that are easier for the elderly and infirm to operate, and ensure that the formulations are suitable too. They must not only have proven efficacy against germs, but should be gentle enough

to care for residents’ delicate skin, as well as that of busy healthcare workers who clean their hands repeatedly during a shift.”
Widely used in the NHS, PURELL is used in healthcare facilities around the world. Its solutions encompass fast- acting, effective formulas that care for skin, state of the art dispensers, and dedicated support such as the Royal College of Nursing accredited training.
