It’s not just about the products themselves: the packaging that products come housed in is just as important to Delphis Eco. The company pioneered Europe’s first 100% post- consumer recycled (PCR) packaging, which work in harmony with its environmentally friendly cleaning chemicals.


We go beyond


With the headlines increasingly filled by distressing pictures of our world awash with plastic waste, Delphis Eco challenged the international manufacturing status quo, and worked with the UK’s leading waste collectors to produce

recycled plastic granules from HDPE plastic, from which to form its new 100% PCR packaging.


Additionally, Delphis partnered with specialist producers to blow its bottles in a relentless determination to achieve the unique 100% food grade quality PCR level. The result was many years of investment, but a long-awaited ‘closing the loop’ breakthrough in the use of HDPE recycled waste.


This beacon initiative has signalled the onset of a new era where manufacturers and consumers will see a shift in how waste is recycled and, importantly, how it subsequently re- enters the supply chain.


Biodegradable labels


Additionally, the labels for Delphis Eco bottles are biodegradable and printed with vegetable ink and boxes are made from 100% recycled cardboard – even the liner is recycled. Nothing is left to chance. Delphis Eco continually forensically interrogates its supply chain for further opportunities to be more sustainable, in its quest to close the loop and reduce waste back into the environment.


EU Ecolabel accreditation


Delphis Eco was the first UK manufacturer to achieve EU Ecolabel accreditation. The EU Ecolabel reviews products’ environmental impact, including impact on animals, at all stages of its lifecycle, and identifies products proven to be environmentally preferable overall.
