The high density foam of Polyfoam Acoustic results in substantial noise reduction, whereas Quicktherm’s perforated underlay, allows for maximum heat transfer when used with underfloor heating. If residual dampness in the subfloor is an issue, Polyfoam Vapour Control utilises an aluminium vapour barrier with an overlap for joint sealing protection.

InstaLay is a revolutionary high performance acoustic underlay for use with carpets, carpet tiles, wood, laminates, luxury vinyl tiles (LVTs) and sheet flooring in all commercial and domestic applications. It incorporates an innovative self-adhesive membrane that minimises or eliminates the need for glue or adhesive open times and avoids mess and delays. In many situations InstaLay is simply loose laid, following reduced sub-floor preparation, for a very quick, clean and easy installation that produces major time and cost savings.
Available with high grab adhesive, for permanent bonding, or low grab for easy future lifting, environmentally friendly InstaLay is manufactured from recycled rubber crumb from worn tyres. It gives excellent cushioning support for great underfoot comfort, is durable, does not degrade over time and extends the life of the floor covering, even in high traffic areas. InstaLay also provides outstanding stability, coupled with excellent acoustic performance, and is extremely ‘fitter friendly’.
