invasive CME test featured in the kit allows the user to quickly map the moisture condition of the entire subfloor, making it simple to determine when and where further testing should be carried out. This moisture mapping also helps to con- siderably reduce the pos- sibility of missing a moisture problem within a slab, which may be localized.
The optional heavy duty pin-type probe allows the user to accurately check the moisture content in wood flooring or wood sub-floors, it comes supplied with inter- changeable narrow pins for minimum damage to the wood and nails for extra robustness.
The new Hygro-i relative hu- midity probes allow the user to determine accurately the ambient conditions as well as to measure moisture deep within a floor screed or slab. This Relative Humidity sleeve test conforms to ASTM, European and Scandinavian standards and has proved to be most effective in finding elevated moisture deep within a slab.
The kit also comes equipped with an infra red surface thermometer which is very useful in helping determine whether an underfloor heating system is functioning correctly and in identifying moisture related problems due to condensation.
Calibration checks are available for all the included Tramex tests and the kit is
supplied in a high quality Ital- ian made ABS case with foam cut outs, ensuring equipment is protected for many years of reliable use.
