The Ultrabond Eco adhesives range is solvent- free, low VOC and carry the GEV-Emicode EC1 logo to provide a totally sustainable solution. Whether installing carpet tiles, carpet, PVC, vinyl, rubber, cork or linoleum on to any substrate, there is a product from within the range that will fulfil the requirement without any compromise to the high quality performance, as anticipated with all Mapei products.
Ultrabond Eco 170 is a carpet adhesive for all types of textile floor coverings.
Ultrabond Eco 380 is a vinyl/PVC adhesive for homogenous and heterogeneous sheet or tiles.
Ultrabond Eco 520 is a linoleum adhesive.
Ultrabond Eco VS90 is a pressure sensitive adhesive for permanent and release bonding of a wide range of floor coverings.
Ultrabond Eco Fix is a multi- purpose high temperature adhesive for bonding vinyl, rubber, PVC and carpet.
Ultrabond Eco Tack is a single component, solvent- free, ready to use elastic wood adhesive.
As with many of Mapei’s products, the Ultrabond Eco adhesives are part of the Green Innovation Programme. The programme ensures not only that the products have undertook extensive Research and Development and are well within the qualifying guidelines for the EC1 classification, but also ensures the manufacturing processes, waste and recycling are fully sustainable.
The development of the Ultrabond Eco adhesives has
ensured that the quality of air for both those who apply the products and those who use the buildings afterwards is improved; therefore as a result, their health and well- being is safeguarded. Mapei’s own ‘Green Innovation Programme’ has been instrumental in the UK Green Building Councils acceptance of Mapei as a member earlier this year in addition to the UK plant achieving Environmental Management System ISO 14001.
