around a case’ to lift it up. Much less bending and lifting at the same time so significantly less stress on the back.”

Katrin customers have also highlighted how easy it is to remove the packs from a pallet, or take out of transit vehicles. They stack very easily and clear labelling makes them quick to identify in a busy store room. The handles make them very easy to remove from the stack and send on to the next step of their journey to the washroom.

The carry packs can be used to distribute the products around the building and two cases (one in each hand) can be easily carried by cleaners, meaning ‘plenty of towels’ to go round. They can also be easily hung on trolleys where appropriate, for easy movement around the building. Distributed a sleeve or two at a time, they can be used in narrow washrooms, or along trains, boats and planes.

The plastic cases can also be used to collect refuse on the return journey gathering debris from the aisles, or emptying washrooms bins into the bag.

The plastic is easily compressed and produces considerable less volume of waste than a cardboard case. It is also completely recyclable, so is good for the environment.

Mark continues: “Looking at good hand hygiene at a more generic level, washing

hands with soap and water, and then drying with a single use towel, removes germs. In turn, this reduces or even eliminates the potential for germs to spread within an organisation. This improves the health and well-being of staff, increasing morale, which in turn, reduces sick leave and increases productivity. So, although it is a simple business process, often overlooked, good cleaning can make a significant contribution to a healthy business.”

But what about business on the move? What about mobile food outlets, medical staff on call, care workers who visit patients at home, people working in confined spaces, or very wet environments? How can we provide clean, dry single use hand towels, when there is no room for a dispenser, or someone is never in the same place twice?

Mark says: “Once again, Katrin has the perfect solution. The New Katrin Easy Pack is a self-contained sleeve of hand towels. The plastic enclosed sleeves protect the products from moisture, grease and dirt. The built in dispenser is easy to open and use, anywhere.

The product is compact, lightweight, easy to carry and transport, is stand alone and ensures that Katrin Hand Towels are always At Hand, improving hygiene everywhere. What is more, the Easy Packs are delivered in the Katrin Handy Pack technology so can be easily stored in the company transport (van, car etc) and a single sleeve taken wherever the staff member goes.”

Katrin Hand Towels are hypo-allergenically tested and so are always kind to hands. Katrin can also deliver narrow hand towels and dispensers, for confined spaces, and an innovative four panel hand towel for those extra demanding requirements – meaning one towel is always enough.

Mark concludes: “So Katrin really has the solution to all your hygiene needs - Katrin solutions; handy, easy and always at hand.”
