Powerful and versatile overhead stirrers

Wiggens introduces the new generation overhead stirrers with WOHS-10 Pro and WOHS-15 Pro series. The units are designed to surpass the requirements of laboratories and institutions around the world with their modern technology and high quality.

The Wiggens overhead stirrers are featured with a high resolution TFT display which can show not only the current speed and torque, but also the set speed, temperature and timer settings. With turning knob and touch key, Wiggens overhead stirrers are very easy to operate. Equipped with the Keyless hand-locking chuck, it is easy to change the impellers without any tools.

The use of BLDC motors is highly beneficial to the performance of the products, in comparison to AC motors, BLDC motors are quieter, more robust and maintenance free.

The housing is made of powder-coated cast aluminium which is fairly corrosion-resisted with good heat reduction ability, which contributes to keeping the unit robust and cool in long-term applications. The USB port and the analogue connection port make all stirrers highly versatile and adaptable for different applications. They can be used as stand-alone units in the labs for scientists and students, as well as integrated in chemical reaction systems.

Wiggens can also provide various impellers, from PTFE to stainless steel with different paddle shape and shaft diameter, to meet customer different applications.

Ergonomics is a key word when performing long pipetting series and routine tests. From instrument position in the hand to smoothest activation, every single detail of the Acura® superior working comfort and reduction of hand fatigue.

manual pipette line from Socorex contributes to

The optimal shape of finger rest maintains the instrument in position while pipetting. Volume setting button allows rapid adjustment, even when wearing gloves. Located on the front instrument side, the display window is always clearly visible during pipetting.

Soft springs and tightness ring with PTFE sleeve reduce frictions and make plunger activation smoother than ever. A large surface ejector button provides for low-pressure activation. In addition to ease of tip ejection, the Justip™ shaft height adjustment system allows a wide selection of tips to tightly fit the nozzle. This proved to be essential where laboratories have limited options to select their own pipette tips (i.e. central purchase).

The Acura®

manual pipettes are available as micro-, macro- and multichannel models. Each instrument bears its own serial number and passes strict performance control attested by an individual QC certificate. Combined with Qualitix®

The ultimate solution for liquid formula stability testing

Microtrac has enhanced its particle characterisation tools with the addition of the globally acclaimed TURBISCAN analyser range, offering the ultimate solution for assessing the physical stability of liquid formulas. The patented Static Multiple Light Scattering (SMLS) technology empowers direct characterisation of native liquid dispersions, facilitating rapid and sensitive identification of destabilisation mechanisms. The temperature-controlled measurement cell in TURBISCAN enables stability monitoring at specific storage temperatures or the acceleration of the destabilisation process. The latest addition, TURBISCAN DNS, introduces a mixing function for analysing the dispersibility of formulas, providing a new dimension to the analysis.

Comprising 5 instruments with diverse sample capacities and temperature ranges, the TURBISCAN range proves invaluable for research and development (R&D), quality control (QC), and quality assurance (QA) labs. TURBISCAN revolutionises stability detection, delivering results up to 1,000 times faster than visual testing. The Turbiscan Stability Index (TSI) scale enables the quantification of global formula alteration, allowing for the comparison and characterisation of the physical stability of formulations using a single, comparable, and reproducible number.

Today, TURBISCAN analysers find application across various industries and sectors, including Specialty Chemicals and Polymers, Pharmaceuticals, Food and Beverages, Home and Personal Care, Coatings, Paints, Inks, Batteries and Electronics, Oil and Lubricants, and more.

Experience the TURBISCAN advantage today and elevate your liquid formula stability. More information online: ilmt.co/PL/NAKJ
