G999 Portable Gas Detection Device

Our most advanced personal gas detector, the Polytector III G999, warns you of the presence of up to 7 dangerous gases in your vicinity and clears confined spaces with an integrated pump.

The G999 is the multi-purpose device you’ve been looking for. It is capable of detecting toxic and combustible gases as well as oxygen in the immediate vicinity. Additionally, confined locations such as manholes, passages and tanks can be monitored before and after entry. The G999 is your personal protection and helps you safeguard others from a safe distance. Its handy design, easy operation and long-life battery makes it a reliable tool for protecting personnel whilst they go about their day to day tasks. The G999 is available in 4 versions to suit every need.

The G999 features a triple alarm: when a threshold is exceeded, it vibrates, warns you visually and emits an alarm, so you and your team will never miss a critical gas concentration in your work environment. The G999 can also be equipped with a radio module so measured values, alarms and connection status are sent to a control centre or to GfG’s Connected Safety Monitor TeamLink, so additional personnel are made aware of the hazard and can act immediately.

Connected Safety with TeamLink

With GfG’s TeamLink you can monitor measured gas concentrations of up to 10 portable gas detection devices and the status of your team members in real-time, from up to 700 meters away.

Using a radio link, TeamLink remotely monitors the alarm status and readings of up to ten G999 and G888 gas detectors. In addition, the continuous connection to the measuring devices is monitored permanently. This means that no member of the team will be suddenly left unguarded.

In the event of an alarm, the corresponding LED on the TeamLink will light up and the measured value or action that triggered the alarm will be displayed. Rescue workers therefore know immediately what danger they are confronted with on site and what precautionary measures need to be initiated.

G888M Portable Gas Monitor

The Microtector G888M has M1 approval for use in the mining industry. Ex-Zone 0 certification enables safe operation in the most hazardous areas. Its compact design makes the G888M ideal for monitoring confined spaces.

GfG’s smallest and lightest 7-gas detection device features a triple alarm that reliably alerts its wearer in cases of critical gas concentrations. The rubberized polycarbonate housing (IP67 protection class) is highly robust. For poorly lit conditions, the G888M has an integrated explosion-protected LED torch.

DS400 and DS404 Docking Stations

Only portable gas detection devices that are bump tested daily can protect people, property and the environment from the dangers that gases can pose. Our docking stations make this routine as easy as possible.

Portable gas detectors are tested and ready to use within seconds of insertion. The datalogger enables convenient documentation. Both models make calibration with zero and test gas just as easy. The DS400 has one gas input, while the DS404 features 4 inputs for single or multi-gases. G888 and G999 gas detection devices are automatically charged in the docking stations.
