Online Water Analysers for many Applications

Swan is a leading manufacturer of on-line analytical instruments with headquarters in Switzerland. The applications range from ultrapure water, feedwater, steam and condensate monitoring as well as potable water and industrial water up to swimming pool and sanitary water applications.

New Dosing Flow Meter Launched at WWEM

ProMinent Fluid Controls Ltd, the chemical fluid handling specialist, will launch the new DulcoFlow flow meter at WWEM 2012 (stand 51). With parts manufactured from chemical resistant PVDF, the DulcoFlow enables the precise measurement of chemical flow (from 0.1 to 50 l/hour)in a wide variety of industrial applications. For example, in drinking water and wastewater treatment, chemical flow monitoring helps process optimisation through feedback control to the dosing pump, and minimises the quantities of chemicals used which lowers costs and helps protect the environment.

Stephen Ellix, ProMinent MD, says “Our full range of monitoring and control instruments will be on display at WWEM, but the DulcoFlow is a very exciting development and is likely to attract the most interest.”

Quantification of Organic Pollution

STS Instruments Ltd will be show casing their novel solution for the identification and quantification of organic pollution using a potable fluorimeter the SMF4.

Water and Environmental Test Kits

Cambio Ltd has been serving the UK molecular biology market for over 25 years. This week at WWEM, we present two manufacturers . Mobio Laboratories and their environmental nucleic acid isolation kits and Xenometrix AG with kits for toxicity testing in compounds and water samples.

Specialised kits by Mobio Laboratories enable DNA/RNA isolation from difficult environmental samples such as biofilm, soil, faecal matter and water . Their patented inhibitor removal technology enables the purest samples to be obtained with ease.

Xenometrix AG’s advanced microfluctuation assays and cytotoxicity kits enables

testing of the mutagenicity potential of components in samples of fresh water, waste water, aqueous extracts, leachates and aqueous mixtures. Visit stand 20 to learn more.
