22 WWEM Preview Compact Turbimeter Presented at WWEM

Leading water analysis specialist Palintest Ltd (UK) will be launching the new Compact Turbimeter at the WWEM 2012 exhibition (stand 7) in Telford.

The Compact Turbimeter provides accurate and intuitive portable testing for Turbidity with a wide range, suitable from high purity water through to wastewater. The instrument extends the company’s existing Compact Meter range, offering high-end analysis specifically designed for the wastewater and drinking water environment.

The Compact Turbimeter uses the nephelometric method of analysis and is compliant with ISO 7027 with compensation monitoring for high levels of turbidity. The instrument uses a simple calibration procedure with a data log included to record results and calibration data for GLP. The product is supplied in a robust carry case containing all accessories and standards for analysis in the field.

Other recent innovations featured on the stand will include the Macro 900 WQS, ChlordioX Plus and 9100 UV-Vis Spectrophotometer. Highlights from the existing Palintest range of drinking water, wastewater and industrial water analysis products will also be available.

Palintest is proud as a leader in the field of water analysis technology to attend WWEM 2012. The company will also be supporting the show through the delivery of a workshop on Disinfection Control, Turbidity and Suspended Solids. WWEM has evolved into a success since its inception back in June 2005. The event has firmly established itself as the number one event for Water/Wastewater and Environmental Monitoring professionals to attend.

Portable, Online and Laboratory Toxicity Monitors

Modern Water’sMonitoring division has developed some of the world’s most advanced systems for monitoring water quality.

The Monitoring division provides market-leading toxicity monitoring systems, trace metal and environmental monitoring systems. The range includes systems for portable, online, and laboratory use. All systems are easy to use and can be operated by technicians anywhere in the world and can be seen on stands 86 & 87 at WWEM 2014.

Our toxicity monitoring products, Microtox and Microtox CTM, detect toxins in water using bioluminescence technology and immediately warn of suspicious changes.

The trace metal PDV and OVA product ranges use voltammetry to identify and quantify trace metals in water, soil, food and industrial streams.

The environmental product range monitors contaminants such as pesticides and petroleum in water, soil and sediment.

The benefits of Modern Water’s technologies include quick and reliable results, early warning of toxic events, low capital and operating costs, protection against environmental pollution, robust and proven equipment for use stand-alone or integrated into existing processes.
