30 New Sine-Wave Vibro Viscometer SV-A Series

Tired of wasting your expensive sample fluid? The solution is finally here: A&D’s new sine-wave vibro viscometer, the SV-A series. This new viscometer can perform viscosity measurements with a sample as small as 2ml (SV-1A).

Furthermore, unlike conventional viscometers, while maintaining an excellent repeatability of 1% of reading, the SV-A’s tuning- fork vibration method allows for continuous measurements from very low to high viscosity [SV-1A: 0.3~1000mPa•s (cP), SV-10A: 0.3~10000mPa•s (cP), SV-100A: 1000~100000mPa•s (cP)] without changing the sensor plates. The SV-A comes with the standard software set, which realises real-time, simultaneous graph plotting of both viscosity and temperature changes on a PC. This makes it easy to find the cloud point of samples, such as for nonionic surface-active agents.

Circle no. 352 Analytical Balances GH Series/HR-i Series

A&D’s GH series (GH-252, GH-202, GH-300, GH-200, GH-120) is suitable for various analytical weighing applications. The GH- 252 has a dual weighing range and is the leading model in the GH series, with its semi-micro (0.01mg) weighing range up to 101g.

The one-touch calibration function with its motor-driven internal mass enables easy and simple calibration for accurate weighing. The GH series boasts extremely high stability and repeatability. In addition to the existing GR series, the GH series also offers you more flexibility and choice in meeting your 0.01mg and 0.1mg weighing needs. The HR-i series (HR-202i, HR- 300i) has the same body as the GH series, but without the internal calibration mass.

Both the GH series and the HR-i series come with a standard RS-232C interface with WinCT software. For the GH series, a Quick USB interface, which requires no driver installation, and an Ethernet interface with WinCT-Plus software, which allows communication with multiple balances, are also available as options.

FX-iWP Series – A&D’s Exclusive IP65 Compliant, Water/Dust Proof Precision (1mg) Balance!

“What if I spill something on the balance?” This question is already a thing of the past. Take a look at the picture, and see what you can do with an IP65 compliant precision balance, available only from A&D. Our precision balance, the FX-iWP, enables you to measure liquid or powder (e.g. pharmaceutical substances) at 1mg resolution while eliminating any worries about damage to the device. Of course, it is equipped with all the functions and benefits offered by the existing FX-i series, such as a B5-size footprint and a stabilisation speed of just 1 second. The FX-iWP can also withstand a variety of adverse conditions. For example, is your workshop filled with oil mist? No problem! Such situations, which may have caused difficulties with precision balances in the past, no longer exist now that the FX-iWP is here.

The FX-iWP series includes six models; the FX-120iWP (122g/1mg), FX-200iWP (220g/1mg), FX-300iWP (320g/1mg), FX-1200iWP (1220g/10mg), FX-2000iWP (2200g/10mg), and the FX-3000iWP (3200g/10mg). Choose whichever model best suits your purposes. The FZ-iWP series is available if you prefer calibration with internal mass.

ADVERTORIAL

Moisture Analysers MS-70 / MX-50 / MF-50 / ML-50

The MS-70, MX-50, MF-50 and the ML-50 are moisture analysers that utilise the heating and drying method, which compares the weight of a sample before and after heating and drying. Compared with Karl Fischer analysers, the MS/MX/MF/ML analysers are much easier to operate and require a shorter time for measurements.

Moreover, using WinCT-Moisture software, it is possible to determine the most suitable heating conditions for a given sample in a very short time. The moisture content resolution of the MS, MX, MF and the ML is 0.001%, 0.01%, 0.05% and 0.1% respectively. The MS-70 is the leading model and is capable of measurements as precise as those done by a Karl Fischer moisture analyser.
