13 FID STATION
The LNI Schmidlin SA Hydrogen / Air gas-generators FID STATION is the eco- nomical answer to high pressure gas cylin- ders in the laboratories. Hydropgen and Air (booth gases 100% free of Hydrocarbons) are generated from the same unit , ready to feed any kind of Flam Ionization Detectors (FID). Zero Air is made from compressed air from the laboratory and Hydrogen is made by electrolysis from deionized water. The FID STATION is very small in food print and easy to operate.

LAB AIR STATION’s LAB AIR STATION’s are avaialbe in 3 version:
AIR STATION includes a quite built-in air compressor for to supply oil free and dry air.
ZERO AIR STATION includes a built-in air compressor for to supply oil free and dry air . A catalytic oven removes the hydrocarbons down to 0.1 ppm.
ULTRA ZERO AIR STATION includes a built- in air compressor for to supply oil free and dry air . A catalytic oven removes the hydrocar- bons down to 0.1 ppm and in addition a set of PSA filters and specific scrubbers, to remove CO2, CO, HC, NOx, SO2 and O3 contami- nants and moisture down to less than 0.1 ppm.
The typical flow rates of the LAB
ULTRA ZERO AIR STA- TION are 1’500 Nml/min up to 30’000 Nml/min. The use of the LAB AIR STATIONS instead of gas cylinders reduce the ope- rating costs significantly.
Circle no. 328 PERMEATION CALIBRATION
The PermaCal has been designed to easily generate different types of calibration gases like BTEX, Acetaldehyde, Formaldehyde, SO2,... Equipped with a large size permeation oven, the PermaCal can hold up to 6 permea- tion tubes with sizes going up to 12 cm length and 1 cm diameter. The oven temperature can be set from 40°C to 80°C. The concentra- tion of the different components can be chan- ged by a factor of 10 using the internal Mass Flow controller. The total flow of the system will be from 500 Nml/min for the high concen- tration setting up to 5000 Nml/min for the low concentration setting. The unit can also be used for diluting high concentration gas cylin- ders to the ppm and ppb level as well. A large number of permeation tubes are available. Each tube is delivered with its permeation rate certificate. Ideal for any kind of laboratory-made gas standard with different concentrations.
Circle no. 329 MINI LAB UHP NITROGEN GENERATOR
LNI Schmidlin AG mini nitrogen generators use the pressure swing adsorption (PSA) technique. The resulting stream of height purity nitrogen gas 99.999% is ideal for applications including GC, car- rier gas, make-up gas, generally for most of the known flow applications. This very quite and small device is a real table top unit and equipped with on board air compressors, requires electric power only. Version 110 / 230 V 50/60 Hz.
