a range of safety measures to ensure that delegates and tutors feel safe during the day. These include reduced class sizes, temperature checks and plenty of hand sanitiser and wipes. The Training Centre is also closed off to keep footfall to a minimum. Feedback has been extremely positive, with one delegate saying: “The tutor delivered a great course and I was very impressed.” Another said: “The preparation video was clear and showed me what to do when I arrived.” SELECT Training Manager, Jenny Cryans, said: “It has been wonderful to welcome delegates back for practical courses. With reduced class numbers, delegates and tutors feel safe in their surroundings. “It’s also been great to introduce online assessments into the classroom- based courses, which have been well received by delegates.” Malcolm Duncan, SELECT’s Training and Development Adviser, added: “Blended learning seems to be the preferred option, with candidates embracing the online aspect and enjoying its many benefi ts.”
