Roman, gold Finger Ring, 3rd-4th cent., internal diam. 1.2cm, oval bezel set with a concave garnet intaglio engraved with a butterfl y alighting on a fountain, on one side of the bezel is an attached loop for a chain. In very fi ne condition with slight wear to the intaglio
