The Earth is round like a ball


Look at the image of the Earth. This image was taken by a camera on a satellite in space. The image shows us that the Earth is round like a ball. The best model we have of Earth is a globe. A globe is the same shape as the real Earth. You may have a globe in your classroom or you can look at the globes on this page.
