test of time. Some couples don’t live with each other 24/7.” Now that couples tend to be around each other more, their tolerance for the little things — that used to bother them and they could push aside — are now becoming more irritating. “What we’re finding is couples are reaching out more for help in being able to


strengthen communication and problem-solving. Especially,when you have a spouse that has lost a job or there’s diminished work hours and those kinds of things,”said Fedunec. There is an increase in domestic violence,and Fedunec hates to say it.“There is an


increase in alcohol consumption.There’s a lot more anger and impatience within rela- tionships,overall.When I say relationships, it’s not just couple relationships, I think it’s just people in general.”
