investment, the Whitley Suite was launched earlier this year in time for wedding season – and then lockdown happened and weddings were cancelled due to Covid-19.
But as restrictions are eased, the wedding team at Whitley Hall are making preparations for autumn and winter weddings to hopefully go ahead and future bookings to be taken, with their wedding open days also recommencing to showcase their new wedding suite in all its glory. The extended room is now a bright, stylish and functional space with wall-to-wall windows flooding the suite with lots of natural light. A larger area means the layout has been reconfigured to open up the seating space and allow all guests to see the happy couple at the top table. Along with new flooring and more neutral
décor, there is also a new bar area plus a lighting system that adds coloured mood lights to the entire room.

Through one door is the new Elliot snug which is a cosy retreat with log fires, comfy sofas and its own bar where your guests can have time out from the buzz of the wedding suite if necessary. One of the standout features is the new outdoor area leading off from the Whitley Suite which includes a folly for open-air ceremonies to take place. There is also a rustic outdoor bar and terrace for your guests to enjoy.
The Whitley Suite renovation complements the other bridal options available at the hotel, including the self-contained Parker Suite which overlooks a private courtyard, lake with pier, and a bandstand. Your wedding day is one of the most significant days of your life and of course couples will have questions and queries surrounding the ‘new normal’.
