Magic: Surprise the Audience; Entertain the Audience; And remember to pick up the check at the end of the run.” Al Belmont has created a new illusion that he believes will accomplish all three goals. Al added that after two very successful runs at this year’s Martin County Fair, and Florida Strawberry Festival, he was very disappointed, that due to the pandemic, he wasn’t able to see members at his usual Federation trade show booth to demonstrate Belmont Magic’s unique new illusion. Amidst the challenges facing all of us, the Belmonts are still striving to
grow and improve their show for when Fairs are up and running again. Al is happy to announce that there’s an Elephant in the Room. That’s Rosie, the newest addition to the Belmont Magic Show, an extremely talented, 3,500 pound, 5-year old, Prestidigitating Pachyderm! Or at least the Illusion of One! In Belmont’s Elephant in the Room, an audience member selects a card. When Al can’t find the card, he calls upon his
Rosie to help find it. A Baby Elephant’s trunk emerges through the main curtain. That’s when the fun begins. After some byplay, Al tosses the cards into the air. The elephant reaches nearly 8 feet into the air catching the selected
card firmly at the tip of her trunk while the other cards flutter to the floor. The talented tyke celebrates with a mighty trum- pet, a spray of water, accepts a banana reward and exits behind the curtain. This one of a kind effect is original to the Belmont Magic Show, it’s fun, fooling and truly brilliant. Audience members
never really see the full elephant. But, their imaginations run wild! Belmont Magic’s new Elephant in the room. It’s just an Illusion! No peanuts or straw required. Imagine the fun!!! “Just to be
