The Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services serves as the state agen- cy for screening applicants for state funding of grants in aid for construction and/or reno- vation of agriculture education and promotion facilities, as outlined in Florida Statute Sec- tion 288.1175 and Florida Administrative Code Chapter 5H-25. Applicants must meet all requirements of this statute and rule in order to be considered eligible for funding.


FDACS is now accepting applications .Applications for certification as an agriculture edu- cation and promotion facility must be postmarked or electronically submitted no later than October 1, 2020 to be evaluated for inclusion in the department’s budget request. The application along with the perti- nent statute and rule has been sent to every member Fair.
