boat and would be grateful to hear from you! Many of us are very aware of what people are going through and want to help. Don’t be embar- rassed, too proud, scared, ashamed or any other self-defeating word. The world needs you! You can help yourself and others in the process. As for me, I am grateful to be alive, to have
food, shelter and to be with my husband/best friend, although we sometimes need to “escape” to our offices across the house from each other. I’ll keep making masks, trying to work with my client, watching some music and home improve- ment shows, and creating and working on proj- ects. I’m trying to avoid medical settings like the plague, but will get my broken tooth and immedi- ate health concerns addressed as soon as is feasi- ble and will try to ward off other health issues with my knowledge of natural health- support. And I’ll try to hope for an end to this madness soon. I hope we come out of it with brighter days, societal aware- ness, change and wellness of the people and planet! I truly hope we create a
new vision of what we want and don’t want for our life paths and have a renewed sense of gratitude and empow- erment moving forward. We have the opportunity to evalu- ate where we are and where we’d like to be. We also have a chance to make a difference in the world and lives of others. These acts of outreach can be just the kindling we need to step outside of ourselves and heal some ills. In doing so, we can light our own fires. •

Social distancing is the most effective tool we have for slowing the spread of the coronavirus. And that means staying home, if you can.
Work from home. Play at home. Stay at home. If you must go out, keep your social distance—six feet, or two arm-lengths apart. Young. Elderly. In between. It’s going to take every one of us. If home really is where the heart is, listen to yours and do the life-saving thing.
