30 Genna and Lee Warlow
Q. Can you tell us about yourselves (names, ages, where you met, how long you have been together, about the marriage proposal?) A. Genna Warlow (26) and Lee Warlow (24). We met in Circles nightclub, and have been together for two years. Lee proposed to me with our bedroom full of ceiling balloons and rose petals.
Q. Did you have a theme to your wedding? A. We went traditional using a mink/rustic scheme.
Q. Where and when did you get married? A. Monkton Priory Church, 28th September 2019.
Q. What wedding music and hymns did you have? A. Our f irst dance, ’ From the ground up’ , and hymns ‘All things bright and beautiful’ and ‘Amazing grace’.
Q. Did you write your own vows? A. No we didn’t.
Q. Can you tell us about your rings? A. We have matching bands engraved.
Q. Did anyone give a reading or solo? (If so, who and what?) A. No.
Q. Who was in the wedding party? (bridesmaids, flower girls, page boys, ring bearers, best man, ushers etc., and their names and relationships to you?) A. My bridesmaides were Kayleigh Woodford (sister), Melissa Watts (friend), Lacey Davies (friend), Nicola McNaughton (friend). And our flower girls were Chloe Woodford (niece), Ellie Best (niece), Leoni-J Watts (best friend’s daughter). Our page boys were Noah Woodford-Webb (son) and Leon Best (nephew). Lee’s best men were his brother Travis Warlow and his friend Manty Balciunas. Our ushers were Lee Woodford (bride’s brother) and Brian Warlow (groom’s uncle).
Q. How long before the big day did you start planning it? A. Around 12 months.
Q. Did you go to a wedding fair for ideas? A. Yes we did.

Q. What was your gown like? (was it specially made or did you purchase it from a shop? If so by whom and where? Can you describe it?) A. My dress was an ivory long-sleeve vintage-style fishtail dress, bought from Wed2b Swansea and altered at Just Sew Alterations, Milford Haven.
Q. Who did your hair and make-up? A. The stunning up do was by Julie Duignan and the perfect make-up by Nicole Devereux.
Q. Did you have any favours? A. We had heart-shaped traditional Welsh cakes.
Q. What did the bridesmaids wear? A. Beautiful mink cross back dresses.
