Menswear Dress for the Occasions Menswear
Dress for the Occasions has been open now for over seven years on Swan Square in Haverfordwest.
“Our location now is a bigger and brighter location with good parking to the rear of our premises,” says owner Geraint Laugharne. I still carry the same stock levels as I did when I was in Hylton John.”
Like all fashions, men’s suit trends come and go in cycles. While 2019 was certainly a great year for the suit (and weddings), many are predicting 2020 will push the envelope even further. Whether you’re a groom or guest, if you’re in the market for an on-trend suit for a wedding, keep your eyes peeled for some of these newer styles in 2020.
If you’re invited to a wedding in 2020, or getting married yourself, there’s a good chance the event will be more casual, outdoors, or with a slight country or Bohemian flair. There’s no two ways about it, a tweed jacket and trousers keep you looking smart even when the occasion is a little more laid-back.
Designers are bringing a more youthful look to this old-school texture, though. Heritage tweeds get an update when paired with sneakers, an open neck, and razor-sharp collars.
And what’s the best thing about running his own men’s outfitters? “The best thing about my job is the one-to-one service which I give,” said Geraint. “I hope every customer leaves my shop happy with their choice and the fitting they have had. After 28 years of measuring, I feel I have treated all customers the same. And also most important, I treat every wedding as if it is the only wedding I am doing. So I make your day special. Please feel free to visit us at Swan Square in Haverford- west. We are open Tuesday to Saturday 9.30am - 5pm.”
