Wedding Dress White Bride
White Bride opened its doors back in 2008 and has been passionate about dressing brides ever since.
Sally, Mary and Jess are experts in finding brides the perfect gown and Helen, White Bride’s amazing seamstress, makes sure the gown fits like a dream.
So we are often asked questions about bridal and hope to help with some of these below... When should I start looking for a gown? The best time is around 9 to 12 months before your wedding - it takes around 6 to 7 months for the gown to come and 8 weeks to fit it, so the time quickly goes. If you are getting married in the next 6 months or less, don’t panic - our designers can turn things round really quickly (Jesus Peiro made us a gown within 3 weeks to the wedding!) Who should come to the appointment? We suggest you bring only a small group of people, your mum, sister and granny maybe. We say don’t bring more than four people as we don’t really have room for more and there will be too many opinions! You have 1 hour and 30 minutes to try on so plenty of time to find the “ONE”.
What styles are in for 2020/21? Bridal is very diverse now with anything from full princess strapless ball gown styles to jumpsuits and trousers being on trend. What we always say is try lots on and when you fall in love, that is the style and the fit you should wear - gown styles are ball gown, Aline, princess, fitted, fishtail, mermaid, column, sleeves, trousers, separates, boho floaty, super sexy fitted, plain, crepe, lace, mikardo and the list goes on...
