Elements Floristry

Julie Keohane of Elements Floristry gives advice on choosing your wedding flowers.

How long in advance of her wedding would you advise a bride to choosee her bouquet?

Ideally I would advise a bride to choose her bouquet at least 6 months in advance, but even turning it around in a week can be done.

What are the most popular flowers and styles?

Roses are still the most popular, but vintage garden flowers are very much the trend at the moment.

Do you also decorate the Wedding ceremony and reception venues?

Yes, I decorate churches and all the venues if required. I also offer a speciality service to move the flowers from the Wedding ceremony to the reception to help the bride with the cost.

What advice would you give a bride looking to chooser her wedding flowers?

My advice to a bride on choosing flowers to think of anything dear to her heart. For example, flowers that grew in grandparent’s or family member’s gardens. That is the kind of ideas that can add a personal touch to the Wedding flowers.
