Beers Solicitors to take on demanding charity challenge

Beers Solicitors is a local firm with offices in both Kingsbridge and Plymouth, and have been serving their communities since 1885 by providing high quality legal advice. Over the years, Beers have

always strived to support the local community in whatever way they can. This April a team from Beers Solicitors will be taking on an epic challenge in aid of their charity of the year, Activities 115. During the past year, Beers staff have raised funds by completing a number of activities, including cake bakes, supermarket bucket collections, raffles and quiz nights. Over the weekend of 18-19 April,

staff members from both the Plymouth and Kingsbridge offices of Beers will be undertaking what will be their most demanding task yet - walking the South West Coastal Walk between the two offices, starting at Sutton Harbour and ending in Kingsbridge. The route will see them cover over 40 miles.

Activities 115, a Kingsbridge-

based charity, provides support to people across the Devon and South Hams area. Their mission is to

ensure adults living with learning differences, disability or autism feel enabled to live an enriched and enjoyable life. They want to empower people, boost their confidence and give them a chance to feel fulfilled from day-to-day. Activities include basketball, yoga, Zumba, social meetups, football and beach cleans. Currently a community hub is

being set up that will offer the chance for anyone in the area to come in and enjoy food, fun and friendship. The hub is due to open this

April; not only will it provide people who are neuro diverse with

give up their free time to train and take a weekend participating in this incredibly tough challenge is

wonderful and shows the team spirit we as a firm hold and our commitment to supporting the work of local charities.”
