However, dealing with failure emotionally is quite difficult. The ability to positively deal with failure re- quires the ability to separate your role performance from your self-esteem and your self-worth. People with a healthy self-esteem are able to more easily grow as a result of failure. If dealing with failure is difficult for a person, we typically work to bolster self-esteem.
