BluescreenIT is a certified champion

At CompTIA’s EMEA conference at the Park Plaza Hotel on 1 October, BluescreenIT was presented with the Apprenticeship Champion award for their creative marketing contribution to the industry- recognised #CertifiedApprentice national apprenticeship campaign, which received over 60,000 social media views. BluescreenIT earned the

Apprenticeship Champion award after creating a series of videos that highlighted the efforts of local apprentices that had pushed themselves to achieve CompTIA’s international acclaimed accreditations as part of their apprenticeship programme. Mike Dieroff, CEO of

BluescreenIT, said: “It is a fantastic achievement to gain our first national award this year and it will serve as a key marketing piece for us to raise awareness of the work

the team put in to developing the next generation of digital professionals. The team really did have a lot of fun putting the videos together to showcase the individual successes of apprentices achieving their international accreditations. It also shows what can be done creatively to achieve success against the national big players even with limited budgets.” BluescreenIT success continued

into November when they were announced as finalists in both the Western Morning News Business Awards and Tech South West Awards. Both recognised the company’s contribution to diversity and its approach of using apprenticeships to not only improve business performance, but to help grow the IT and cyber skills pool in the wider community.
