Hoe - a fitting location for the city’s oldest lodging house. Dating back to 1852, it was designed by famous architect John Foulston in 1842. The journey from three to four stars started in October 2018, with a
capital investment in excess of £250,000 that was used to refurbish the public areas, restaurant, bar and lounge and many of the bedrooms. Two additional staff have joined the front of house team and the kitchen is now led by a talented new Head Chef, Kristofer Blyth, who joined the
hotel after working as a chef in the House of Lords in London. The Food and Beverage Manager was appointed
internally and heads up the new Bowline Restaurant, which runs an à la carte menu from Thursday to Saturday. The Invicta Hotel also runs its own Lounge Menu available from Monday to Saturday.
As part of the offer to Plymouth businesses, the hotel is happy to offer a 10% discount to all Plymouth Chamber members for their own use or
that of their businesses. This applies to both accommodation and restaurant. This introductory offer is available until the end of December 2019.
