Whatmadeyoudecide toget marriedwhere youdid? You enter the grounds through a long driveway where you pass stunning scenery and wildlife. The hall is a beautiful building full of character and each windowhas a lovely view of the flower beds and oak trees. The lake is what clinched it for us, it even has black swans.


Howwould youdescribe your wedding day in 3words? Romantic.Rustic. Laughter. Whatwas theproposal like?


Paul knewhewantedtohaveaprivate andintimateproposal. Ihadbeenout fordinnerwithfriends andcame hometoredrosepetalsupthestairs, past valentines’ cardsoneachstep andanotesaying followthepetals upstairs.So, Iwalkedupstairs tofinda roomof candles, rosepetals everywhere, chocolates,bottleof champagnewithglasses andanote saying ‘Pressplay’ontheTVremote. Paulhadcreatedhisownvideoabout our relationshipwiththeacoustic versionof ‘Slideaway’playing inthe backgroundandit finishedwitha

Howlongwas yourwedding planning process? We enjoyed being engaged for 6 months then began planning which took about a year. The venuewas the first thingwe booked.
