PUBLISHER'SLETTER W
e’re excited to showcase our 2nd annual 2019 10BEST Winners! We are proud to be the fi rst reader nominated awards
exclusively for the holistic business community in Connecticut. It was so amazing to see many practitio- ners and businesses win for a second year and also to see many new faces as well! Not only does this issue include twenty pages dedicated to our award winners,
but we have over 100 practitioners and businesses listed in our Resources section! We hope that you use this issue as a resource for all of 2020.
We’re so proud of our 10BEST awards because it brings massive
awareness throughout the state for Holistic Businesses & Practitioners and Natural Nutmeg and we receive amazing feedback from the winners and readers. Many business owners in categories like Natural Product Companies, Spas, and Farm-to-Table restaurants said they just discovered the magazine and didn’t realize their customers were avid readers and fans. Because of this we were able to increase our advertiser demographic and distribution and holistic business owners increased their exposure! We have 3 new categories this year: Holistic Pediatrician, Holistic Weight Loss Center and Osteopathic Physician. These awards are a fantastic way for business owners to increase their market share and expand their business. Our Connecticut holistic practitioners are extremely passionate about helping their local communities and all of our winners are overwhelmingly grateful to you - our reader – for helping to bring more awareness to all of the amazing natural and ecofriendly choices we have in this great state.
Of course, we couldn’t produce an issue without including our usual fantastic content, so this month don’t miss the great articles we have on breaking bad habits, natural options for kids, fi ghting type 2 diabetes, skincare and sexual health. Hope you enjoy and let us know what you think of our 10BEST/Essential Living Guide issue!
