There are hundreds of patient success stories that always bring us a great deal of joy and gratitude. But looking back to the days leading up to my acupuncture license arriving from the CT Department of Public Health - all that excitement and anticipation to get started on this career after 4 years of grad school - that was a pretty magical time!

4. What do you like the most about being a part of Natural Nutmeg?

egina Sanchez works as a peace maker, chaos eliminator and life giver. As a Health, Wellness and Organizational Coach, Regina helps people transform their health, and their living space into something that

will enhance their life and their purpose. 1. Why are you passionate about your specialty?

It breaks my heart to see individuals in bondage to depression and anxiety knowing they do not need to live this way. Clutter in our environ- ment or dis-ease in our body, is only a symptom of a bigger picture. I love helping individuals get to the root of the symptom and then help guide them to peace, health and abundant living.

2. What sets you apart from other practitioners in the holistic fi eld?

Working as a Professional Organizer, I take it one step further and look at the “whole” of an individual. Studies show that living amongst clutter usually also produces health issues. I want to free individuals of both.

3. Tell us about the best memory you have about being a holistic practitioner.

I worked with an individual to help create a home of peace and beauty. After our fi rst session that day, I received a call from this client as she was sitting in her bedroom crying because she didn’t realize how stressful it was living in the clutter and now her room was peaceful. Seeing the result of this change propelled her to now look at her health.

4. What do you like the most about being a part of Natural Nutmeg? Love the heart and mission of Natural Nutmeg…and especially love

working with Diane. Big heart and passionate about what she does.

Dr. Antonio Reale, ND D

r. Antonio Reale offers Naturopathic medicine, herbal medicine, nutrition, lab testing, botanical tinctures,

nutrition evaluation, personalized meal plan, weight loss counseling, general counseling for anxiety and mood disorder, stress reduction, and massage therapy.

1. Why are you passionate about naturopathic medicine?

I love having the time (60-90 minutes) to talk to my patients and explain physiology, biochemical processes and how organ systems work together. When the patient takes the driver’s seat and understands the treatment, it’s therapeutic in a sense and they have a more active role in their healthcare.

2. What sets you apart from other practitioners in the holistic fi eld? The kind of medicine I practice is extremely personalized and

allows me to make minute changes in a treatment plan from visit to visit. I have a large dispensary of 40 different herbs to create tinctures and hone in on different organ systems to match a person’s symptoms. I also create personalized meal planning tailored for weight loss, or other chronic conditions. I have a Master’s in nutrition which gives me additional training beyond my ND degree.

3. Tell us about the best memory you have about being a holistic practitioner.

So many amazing memories but one that stands out is an infertility patient I had. She was in her mid 40s and had just lost her 18-month-old son to cancer. She was given a 1% chance of becoming pregnant due to the quality and amount of eggs she had. We worked together over the course of 9 months with herbs, nutrition, and acupuncture and she not only got pregnant but had twins!
