t ProNatural Physicians Group, we use traditional natural therapies along with advances of modern medicine to
design an individualized program for the patient. 1. Why did you want to become a holistic practitioner? I fi rst became interested in holistic medicine when
I was pregnant with my son. I began to fully understand the need for natural treatments and less invasive therapies that produced safe and curative results. This catalyst was the springboard that inspired me to study to receive my Doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine from Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine in Tempe, Arizona.
2. What sets ProNatural apart from other practices?
At ProNatural Physicians Group we believe in a well-rounded team approach to healthcare. Currently, ProNatural Physicians has an acupuncturist on staff, as well as a registered dietitian, therapeutic massage therapist, an APRN, a Certifi ed Homeopath/Medical Thermographer, in addition to several Naturopathic Doctors. Expansion plans are currently underway, having launched our in-house Infusion Center. All of our practi- tioners work together to help create a seamless, organized, and effi cient experience for ProNatural patients.
3. What is the best memory you have about being a holistic practitioner?
The ability to "cure" patients who have had a life-long history of chronic disease. I had a patient who came to me with chronic digestive issues. He had been to many "traditional" specialists to no avail. I gave him a protocol to follow; at his next appointment he told me that all his issues had been resolved. His reaction was pure amazement that he could feel so much better after one visit and that is why I do Naturopathic Medicine.

1. Why are you passionate about your specialty? I am passionate about what I do because of the considerable
improvement in my patient’s health that I see when using a whole- body paradigm approach to patient care.
2. What sets you apart from other practitioners in the holistic dental fi eld?
Recognizing the physical and energetic relationship of the mouth to the rest of the body and how to incorporate this into patient care. Ad- dressing problems in the mouth and all its related structures are central to achieving optimal health and it should be part of every holistic practi- tioner’s treatment plan.
3. What can patients expect from working with you?
Using a combination of conventional and nonconventional dentistry, along with an energetic paradigm, testing and treatment, patients can expect to see an improvement in overall wellbeing.
4. What plans do you have for the future?
I recently purchased a head CT Scanner to help screen for Sleep Breathing Disorder (SBD). One of the advantages of a CT SCAN is that it allows me to evaluate the size of one’s airway. A decrease in oxygen while sleeping is associated with numerous health problems such as ADD/ADHD, diabetes, hypertension, chronic fatigue, and cancer. Utilizing the CT SCAN, along with other diagnostic clues, helps to evaluate if a person indeed has SBD. If they do, dentistry can usually signifi cantly improve the situation.

We are so passionate about sharing our knowledge of Yoga, Barre and wellness with our community. It is extremely rewarding to watch our students reconnect with themselves through self-care. The transforma- tions we see physically, emotionally and spiritually amaze us every day.
2. Tell us about the best memory you have about being a holistic practitioner.
One of our student transformation’s that we are so proud of is Wendy
who came in the door at the end of her rope after doctors had said they had done all they could do to treat her chronic pain. The day she walked into Zen Yoga Barre she says that she felt so welcomed and comfortable. She loved the ZYB Vibe which led her to make a commitment to herself and join. Fast forward two years, she is now one of our teachers! She is also a Thai Yoga Massage Therapist. She felt empowered after taking her health into her own hands. “The energy in this place could heal the world.” First Class is Free…come see why ZYB is the place to be!
