if necessary. Dr. Carol’s practice empowers patients to lead healthier lives through in-depth knowledge, expertise and one-on-one coaching.

1. Why are you passionate about your specialty?

I have been surrounded by doctors, traditional and alternative, my entire life. I chose alternative medicine to be able to teach people how to safely implement it in their lives. I regard what I do not only as a treat- ment but as a lifestyle. Being a business owner allows me to control how that is done at every level to ensure quality and legitimacy.

2. What sets you apart from other practitioners in the holistic fi eld?

I am a different Naturopath in the sense that I focus greatly on the science and evidence-based practices as my base to implement other non-standard alternative medicine modalities. My business is a concierge-style practice that services mainly women and children through various stages of life including fertility, prenatal, postpartum and lactation support. This model allows for best tailoring and convenience while keeping it very personal.

3. Tell us about the best memory you have about being a holistic practitioner.

There is no greater compliment for me than trust and respect. Having patients follow me across states and trusting me with their children says a lot about the confi dence they have in my interventions.
