Alimentari Upstairs at Di Bruno Bros. in Philadelphia, PA What’sNew

Philadelphia is currently experiencing a period of hotel expansion with several properties under construction or preparing to open in the near future. By the end of next year, the city’s hotel room supply will have increased by 15 percent since 2018.

The Four Seasons Hotel Philadelphia at the Comcast Technology Center, located on the 48th to 60th floors of what is the tallest building in Philadelphia, opened this fall. With 219 modern guest rooms and 39 suites, the hotel has more than 15,000-square feet of corporate meeting and event spaces, a 57th-floor spa sanctuary that includes an infinity pool, is home to restaurants by Michelin-starred chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten and James Beard Award-winner Greg Vernick, and features the JG Skyhigh lounge on its top floor boasting 360-degree views of the city.

The Notary Hotel, a new Autograph Collection property, has opened in the former Philadelphia City Hall Annex. The building, listed on the National Register of Historic Places, recently underwent a renovation of over $20 million. The property features 499 guest rooms and over 10,000-square feet of conference space within 12 event rooms.

The Philadelphia Marriott Old City, formerly the Sheraton Society Hill, has been reimagined with distinctive spaces and inventive amenities to create an enhanced guest experience, including a four-story Great Room lobby, modern guest rooms, state-of-the-art fitness center, and M Club, which is the first of its kind in Philadelphia.
