Chester County has some new, interesting spaces modified for a modern, fresh adaptive use on the horizon. The Grove in Malvern is a prime example as the Shops at Great Valley site is being redeveloped into a multi-use, lifestyle space featuring dining, shopping and an outdoor events spot. The centerpiece of The Grove is a 10,000-square foot outdoor area with a grass covered center square, outdoor seating and a giant 200-inch television. The goal is to become an attraction within the Center where seasonal events and music acts will be a draw.

The Grove will be home to Sly Fox Brewery as well as another area staple, Nudy’s Cafe. A new restaurant by Paladar Restaurant Group, BOMBA Tacos and Rum Bar, also will spice up the space. Creating both the perfect taco and featuring over 100 rum offerings, this 4,000-square foot restaurant seats 185 guests and has semi-private space for meetings and events.

In Exton, PJW Restaurant Group recently introduced their sixth concept, the ChopHouse Grille, which features private dining plus a window filled four-season room with an outdoor terrace.
