The Chester County Conference and Visitors Bureau staff offers assistance in choosing the right venue as well as complimentary services such as welcome bags, name badges and scheduling of companion trips. As an added incentive for the first quarter of 2020 and 2021, a NEW meeting or event that books in a Chester County lodging property with 25 or more room nights will be eligible for a $500 signing bonus plus $5 per night on rooms picked up.


Chester County’s Brandywine Valley is home to a wide variety of accommodations, many of which have a longstanding reputation for quality and outstanding service. The Embassy Suites by Hilton in Chesterbrook has completed a comprehensive renova- tion of their 5,000-square feet of meeting space, and by the end of 2019 all 229 of its suites will have been rejuvenated.


The Residence Inn, Exton also is remodeling with Marriott’s newest, most modern Residence Inn package. Upgrades to the property include a lobby renovation, large fitness center, and a conference room with breakout onto the patio. The patio also is slated for a new look with the addition of a fire-pit and new fur- nishings.


Fresh New Event: Homegrown


Save the date for a new event in Chester County to celebrate the bounty and harvest of the region. Homegrown will take place on Saturday and Sunday, September 19-20, 2020 at Ludwig’s Corner Horse Show Grounds. It will feature a weekend of interac- tive fun showcasing all things locally sourced and homegrown in Chester County. Highlights include: more than 100 vendors, a fair, live animal farm, in- teractive games and family fun, food, craft brews, wine and spirits. Live entertainment will feature local and regional music plus a national headline per- formance.
