Visit Bucks County Event Venue Show Connects Regional Meeting Planners with Bucks County Venues

September 19, 2019 - Doylestown, PA – Visit Bucks County (VBC), the official tourism promotion agency for Bucks County, hosted its annual Event Venue Show at the Michener Art Museum for meeting and event planners and administrative professionals. Featuring more than 45 exhibitors from local venues and businesses, the event showcased Bucks County’s spaces to 100 attendees from Eastern Pennsylvania, New Jersey and New York.

Attendees enjoyed learning more about Bucks County’s unique corpo- rate and social venues while sampling culinary from Catering By Design, as well as tastings from the Bucks County Wine Trail and Ale Trial. New this year, all planners in attendance received a complimentary headshot from Brooke Straiton Photography.

Exhibitors ranged from museums and rustic B&Bs to wineries, breweries and full-service hotels. Businesses included new properties like Stella by Jose Garces, the Riverhouse at Odette’s, Durham Springs, Triple Sun Spirits Co. and Nostalgia 1720; other venues in attendance were: Peddler’s Village, Hotel du Village, Sand Castle Winery, Mercer Museum and more, while A to Z Party Rental provided tenting and Sound Choice supplied the DJ and music.

VBC hosted a FAM Tour the following day to showcase some of what Bucks County and Doylestown have to offer for meetings and events.

“Bucks County offers a unique selection of venues for meetings and events, corporate retreats, team building and everything in between,” said VBC President/COO, Paul Bencivengo. “Our close proximity to New York and Philadelphia makes Bucks County an ideal countryside destination for planners looking for options outside the city.”
