Corfe Mullen Youth Club
As a centre we run all levels of the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award and can support anyone who is new to the Award or has enrolled in Bronze at school and would like to undertake Silver or Gold level.
We operate the Award under a licence held by Dorset Council. All are welcome to contact us and meet our skilled and qualifi ed staff. Enrolment is open until early next year, but if the young people enrol they can immediately start on their sections (Skill, Volunteering and Sport) with expedition training taking place next year. The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award is one of the most recognised and valued additions to a CV. Come along on a Monday evening to ask any questions.
Life has been busy at the Youth Club, welcoming a new group of members to Year 7 and increased numbers for Years 8 and 9. The Youth Club is still somewhere that young people from the area can meet and socialise safely, especially now many have changed school. New members are always welcome to join. Please email or call in to the Parish Council offi ce for enrolment forms. Our autumn term programme is available on the Parish Council website
www.corfemullen-pc.gov.uk where there is a link to the Community Youth Club pages. We also publish regular updates on the Corfe Mullen Community Facebook page.
This term’s timetable, all sessions run from 7-9pm: Mondays: Duke of Edinburgh’s Award Tuesdays: Year 9 and above (senior club) Thursdays: Year 7 Fridays: Year 8
