Woodward Charitable Trust

The Trust is offering grants for one-off projects that support vulnerable groups. These range from children who are isolated, at risk of exclusion or involved in anti-social behaviour, to the promotion of community cohesion among minorities, and projects for those with disabilities. Prince of Wales Charitable Foundation

The Foundation’s small grants programme accepts applications from schools or PTAs with an annual income of less than £1million. Grants are awarded to projects focusing on education, the built environment and community, conservation, and arts and culture. Successful applications have included funding for a forest school, and a contribution towards specialist equipment for pupils with disabilities. Schools and PTAs with charity status can apply for a top-up grant of up to £1,000 to help with an existing fundraising project. You need to demonstrate why you require a grant, and what you have already done to raise money. Grants are available for a wide range of initiatives, from the reading books to gardening projects – the key is to demonstrate passion and commitment.
