Inspire your pupils to help protect the wonders of the natural world by entering this annual children’s art competition, run by the David Shepherd Wildlife Foundation. With time running out for many species of plants and animals, the competition gives children the chance to creatively explore this important issue. It’s open to groups of children age 16 or under (whether a club, class, year group or whole school), who must work together to create a mini exhibition. The artworks must incorporate some form of recycled material. A photograph of the exhibition must be submitted, along with the entry form, by 29 January 2020. Shortlisted entries will be displayed at a prize- giving day hosted by the Natural History Museum. For more information, visit
