HALESWORTH dementia CARERS' FUND
WE hope you all have had a good summer – the autumn evening chill is now with us, but we still have some lovely days. At the beginning of July we hired the i-Chameleon pop- up shop in the Thoroughfare for the second year running. We had a good response to our request for goods to sell and the trade throughout the week was brisk. We raised almost £1000 – we thank all those who helped in the shop over the week and those who donated the goods. We also showcased some of our sponsors – Prestige Nursing Care,

Entry to watch the fi lm is donation on the door only and don’t forget to buy some raffl e tickets which help boost the funds for respite care. Why not get there early and have a coffee at The Cut Café and purchase one or two of Jill’s hand crafted cards or order a speciality card. Stock up for Christmas! John Burton of World Land Trust presenting the cheque to Liz Hill, Blyth Woods Treasurer.
THANK you for your support World Land Trust! John Burton handed over a cheque for £250 to Liz Hill,
treasurer of Blyth Woods, when
he visited current fund raising Grove
Piece community woodland recently. WLT are supporting our
to
buy Malster’s Little Field beside Grove Piece. Blyth Woods bought Grove Piece last year with the aim of extending the woodland area adjacent to Vicarage Grove in Wenhaston. We are a group of local people trying to improve our environment. If you would like to know more about our project, get involved or make a donation please have a look at our website blythwoods. org or visit the World Land rust offi ces, ridge Street, Halesworth where we have a display. We have nearly raised enough money to fi nance the new project but booking on our Christmas Wreath Making activity will help us reach the target. Look out for the posters.
