Frogmore Village extends a warm welcome to all


to come and join in the fun at their annual summer regatta. It always makes for an entertaining and traditional day out for all the family. It is indeed a


regatta and it does take place on the water, but you don’t need to bring a boat to take part!


Rowing boats are provided and anyone can make a raft and enter the swashbuckling Globe Inn


Challenge raft race. The regatta is once again hosting another of Waterborn’s competition paddleboard


races and there will be the chance for visitors to try their hand at paddle boarding for themselves. And for those who love mud, mud, glorious mud, there are mud races across the creek.


Back on terra firma is the ever popular fun dog show, a fun produce show, family sports, swing boats,


strong man hammer, donkey rides and a chance to meet and greet the (rescued) ferrets. The tug of war competition makes for good spectator sport but if you wish to test your muscle, it is open to contest from sides of men, women and children.


Live entertainment features belly dancing, Morris dancing and ceilidh music - along with the odd sea shanty - from the Widecombe’s ‘Banned From the Moor’.


No need to pack food and drink as a raft of delicious eats and treats awaits for every palate, including


cream teas, hog roast baps and something for those who prefer plant based food, or something a little spicier! Call in on the South Hams Brewery’s tent


for artisan ale and cider or swing by the Pimms and Prosecco tent. Chin chin.
