MLILY USA Debuts Luxury Roll-Pack Mattress Model At Las Vegas Market
By Elaina Hundley Pushing the boundaries of luxury and price, MLILY USA is launching its luxury hybrid mat- tress, Ego, at the summer Las Vegas Market. Retailing at approximately $3,999 in queen, the new mattress strives to deliver top-of- the-line luxury in a roll-packed bed. With full production beginning by the end of the year, Ego will be the first mattress to be produced at the company’s South Carolina facility. “We have long believed that there is far more bandwidth in the roll-pack platform to construct more feature rich and luxurious mat- tresses. Ego takes us down that runway in a very exciting way,” said James Ni, chairman and chief executive officer of Healthcare Co. Ltd., the parent company of MLILY USA. “Our customers are looking to us to design and de- liver a broader range of product so they can reach customers at every price point.” Designed to accommodate all sleep posi- tions and body types, Ego offers a 12-inch profile with seven unique zones of pocket springs to support the shoulders, hips, back,
feet and head. The mattress features MLILY’s AirCell foam to help facilitate air flow, while bamboo memory foam regulates moisture, odor and temperature. Crafted with a propri- etary spindle shape, the pocketed spring sys- tem also helps minimize partner disturbance. The mattress is finished in a double jacquard white fabric cover that is cool-to-the-touch, with a contemporary black border accented by an orange welt.

NCFI Introduces Five Model Boxed Bed Lineup By Elaina Hundley
Quietly building its presence in the boxed bed category through its contract manufacturing, NCFI’s competitive advantage lies in its verti- cal manufacturing capabilities. At the Las Ve- gas summer market, the brand will leverage its expertise in foam manufacturing as well as private label boxed bedding to unveil Bedina- box, a five-model boxed bed collection. Designed to provide brick-and-mortar re- tailers with a competitive, domestically-made option in the growing boxed bed category, Bedinabox will feature proprietary polyure- thane foam and other components produced in NCFI’s factories. “We’ve been working with other brands to develop their lines, and now we see a grow- ing opportunity to leverage our innovation and product development skills to bring Bedina- box to market,” said Chris Bradley, executive
vice president of the company’s consumer products division. “Retailers are craving alter- native brands to help them stand out in the e-commerce arena. With Bedinabox, we’ve created a full line with a number of consum- er-appealing features at strong price points.”

dinabox features four all-foam models and one Dual-Hybrid design. The foam mattress- es all feature a combination of foams, in- cluding NCFI’s CoolRest gel-infused mem- ory foam for increased air flow and cooler sleep. Other cooling technologies, including the company’s CoolRest Adaptive—a tem- perature-regulating finish in the cover and the top layer of memory foam—are included in the step-up models, while Tencel dress- es another design. The Dual-Hybrid model delivers a 1,700-coil count combination of pocket coils, microcoils and specialty foams developed by NCFI. “We’re confident Bedinabox will resonate with retailers and consumers.
