Mattress Therapedic Builds On Proven Winners At Summer Las Vegas Market
By Gretchen Kast Therapedic International is building on the proven winners it released this winter by ex- panding those collections at the summer Las Vegas Market. The company will spotlight an enhanced assortment of new product intro- ductions, including its Special Edition, Pure- Touch and Therapedic Hybrid collections. The new four-model Special Edition Col- lection offers an array of differentiated fea- tures at a retail price point that ranges from $599 to $999. “True to its name, the Spe- cial Edition Collection is special on a num- ber of fronts,” said Gerry Borreggine, pres- ident and CEO of Therapedic International. “For one, the line has an exceptional value proposition, but there is so much more to this new assortment.” The collection is made with a Quantum Edge coil unit system that allows retailers to tell an edge-to-edge sleeping surface story. Also noteworthy is the use of Biocrystal foam. This innovative crystal technology, which is scientifically and clinically supported, is said to
not only increase energy and boost relaxation, but also improve and enhance sleep quality. “Research shows that this technology re- sulted in consumers reporting decreased pain, better body circulation and better sleep,” Borreggine explained. The crystal technology is said to enable proper cell function and im- prove energy renewal, both critical to provid- ing quality rest and recuperation. In addition to the new Special Edition Col- lection, Therapedic is showing an updated ver- sion of its PureTouch natural latex line. By inte- grating layers of Talalay’s graphite latex atop a Dunlop latex core, the collection offers a more buoyant, breathable natural sleep surface. “The benefits of latex are many and include comfort, pressure relief, temperature regula- tion, buoyancy and much more,” Borreggine explained, referring to the three models being shown: Mist, Canopy and Afterglow. The full lineup includes seven SKUs with retail pric- ing ranging from $1,499 to $2,999. Based on strong responses to its initial preview, the company is also showcasing the

Therapedic Hybrid collection. Increasingly ap- pealing to both retailers and consumers, hy- brid mattresses blend specialty foams, coils and other materials to deliver superior support, pressure relief, cooling, breathability, confor- mance and durability. Therapedic will feature four models of the six-model collection in Las Vegas: an entry level T2 model, accompanied by the TLX6, TLX7 and TLX8 step-up models. Queen mattress-only pricing for this collection ranges from $799 to $1,999. Visit
