WHAT DOES YOUR COMPANY DO? Deliver productivity gains through the deployment of software robots in Robotic Process Automation (RPA) solutions that replace human effort required to undertake repetitive tasks on computer systems such as Invoice processing, CRM data entry, HR staff on- boarding, compliancy checks, etc. Software robots can work 24x7 and with 100% consistency avoiding natural human errors, so the ROI is clear.
HOW DID IT ALL START? I founded Ether Solutions in 2000, to address document management needs of businesses. For most problems, people know that the answer is out there somewhere in the Ether. As an IT consultancy we have evolved from document management to document/forms processing systems and now work with software robots for RPA implementations.
WHAT IS THE BIGGEST RISK YOU’VE EVER TAKEN – AND DID IT WORK OUT? Being part of a three-man team doing a management buy-out of an IT consultancy during the 1990’s which meant raising money in the city from venture capitalists.
WHAT HAS SURPRISED YOU MOST IN YOUR JOB? As a consultant working for a range of interesting companies that operate great business models which most people have never heard about.
WHAT EXCITING PROJECTS IS YOUR BUSINESS WORKING ON OR OFFERING AT THE MOMENT? Ether Solutions provides Robotic Process Automation (RPA) solutions which is a market that is evolving rapidly. AI (Artificial Intelligence) is also starting to be combined with RPA and this opens another set of potential solutions to help businesses.
