Whether you are a small company or large global trader, getting paid is vital. Those that attend will learn how to tighten up their security of payment and understand the roles of the banks. Delegates will learn about the intricacies of credit and collection transactions and why, when and how to use documentary Letters of Credit (LC). This masterclass will guide you through the complexities of LC rules and regulations, so delegates can be proactive with advance terms and conditions and encourage LC clauses that work for them. The role of documentary collection, sight and terms drafts and discounting will also be explained.

CHAMBER EVENT IN FOCUS MAXIMISE YOUR MEMBERSHIP


Milton Keynes Chamber is to hold another of its popular Maximise Your Membership events on Wednesday 11 September 2019. Held biannually and hosted at Harben House


Hotel in Newport Pagnell, these events help members to learn and re-cap on the diverse offer Chamber Membership has available. It also gives members a chance to meet the Chamber Team and third party partners and suppliers – such as the Department of International Trade and AXA PPP Healthcare – face to face and talk to them one-to-one about specific elements of


the Chamber membership package, how they are relevant to them and how to use them. There will also be an opportunity for


members to network over tea and coffee and build up their business contacts. The event is free to attend and will take place from 8.30am to 11am.
