Drexelbrook Hotel Opening March 30, 2019 - Drexel Hill, PA – Drexelbrook Associates, owners of the award-winning Drexelbrook Catering & Special Event Center, hosted a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony and Grand Opening Celebration for 250 guests at their new 100-room Holiday Inn Hotel & Suites Philadelphia W Drexel Hill. The hotel is operating as an InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG) franchise, owned by Drexelbrook Associates and managed by Prestige Hospitality Group of Albany, NY.
Representatives of IHG, Upper Darby Township, Delaware County Council, Steve Byrne of Destination Delco, and Trish McFarland of the Delaware Country Chamber of Commerce joined Drexelbrook Associates for the event.
The new on-site Holiday Inn Hotel & Suites, connected to the Special Event Center, is the latest expansion of the Drexel- brook brand. The hotel features the new Holiday Inn H4 de- sign solution, representing Happiness, Hospitality, Home and Holiday Inn – four key elements reflective of the Holiday Inn’s distinctive experience, as well as a restaurant and lounge. In addition, a major redesign of the 36,000-square foot Drexelbrook Special Event Center recently was completed, introducing new stylish décor and upgraded amenities.
