Forged by ex-members of Frank Zappa’s Mothers of Invention and now celebrating their 50th anniversary, Little Feat has withstood decades and the loss of iconic frontman Lowell George to continue an output of high-voltage American rock n’ roll laced with lockstep groove, as heard on the epitome of live rock records, Waiting for Columbus.

Venezuelan singer Nella’s music is a meeting place of her country’s folklore roots, her contemporaries’ influence, and the music of the Andalusian region. The Berklee grad’s carefree delivery sets dramatic relief against her voice’s power, her music building strength from surprise to intoxicating effect. In her first visit to Vermont, the recent star of director Asghar Farhadi’s film Everybody Knows—which also features Penelope Cruz and Javier Bardem— performs Javier Limón-penned songs from the film’s soundtrack as well as original compositions.
