Groundbreaking banjoist, composer, and bandleader Béla Fleck reconvenes the original, five-time Grammy-winning Flecktones on the MainStage in the wake of their still-being-talked-about appearance at the Burlington Discover Jazz Waterfront Tent in 2016. With pianist/harmonica player Howard Levy back in the fold alongside Fleck, bassist Victor Wooten, and percussionist/ drumitarist Roy “Futureman” Wooten, the extraordinary initial line-up that launched the band to stratospheric highs following their 1988 inception eschews nostalgia, bringing elements from solo endeavors together in a vibrant blend of visionary sound.
