Waterbury-based TURNmusic presents chamber music of our time with innovative programming not limited by genre and the evening’s featured composers often in the audience. Founder and director Anne Decker mixes her diverse musical taste and experience to create some of the most intriguing, thought provoking, and enjoyable music being played in the state. Returning to FlynnSpace for their fifth season-long series, the group is dedicated to creating relaxed concert experiences that bring our community together to celebrate the incredible work of budding and established composers.

The Lake Champlain Chamber Music Festival explores and extends chamber music’s boundaries with Those Secret Eyes, an original production by Merz Trio and featuring dance soloist Caroline Copeland. In a meditation on Lady Macbeth, text, dance, and lighting weaves into music by Brahms, Schumann, Verdi, Johannes Maria Staud, and Charlotte Bray. In March, the LCCMF hosts acclaimed soprano Lucy Shelton with brass quartet the Westerlies, presenting an afternoon of American parlor songs, including a new arrangement of Charles Ives pieces.
